About Herriman 24/7 Plumbing
Herriman 24/7 Plumbing is a dispatch line for plumbing problems in Herriman, Utah and the towns around it. You call, we listen, and a licensed plumber is booked for your address.
What we do and what we do not
We answer the phone around the clock and match each call to a licensed and insured plumbing contractor. We do not run a website chat, a booking form or a text line. Everything goes through one number, (385) 488-1892, so you reach a person who can ask follow-up questions.
The plumbers who arrive hold their own Utah licenses, and you can check any of them through the state licensing lookup. The work agreement is between you and the plumber who performs it, and the price is explained before work starts.
How we handle a call
Every call follows the same short path so nothing is left out.
Listen first
The dispatcher asks what you see, hear and smell, and whether water is still running.
Match the job
Drains, water heaters, leaks and sewer problems go to plumbers who do that kind of work.
State the price method
You hear how the price is built before anyone picks up a tool.
Follow up
If something is not right after the visit, call the same line.
Why local rules matter to us
Herriman has its own water department, its own building department and a separate sewer district. A water heater swap needs a city permit, a sewer backup can sit on either the district main or your private line, and secondary irrigation water has its own shutoff season. We write the service pages around those facts so you know what to expect before the call.
We also say plainly what we do not do. Natural gas leaks go to 911 and Enbridge Gas first. Structural foundation repair is outside plumbing. If a job needs a permit, the plumber tells you before work starts.
What you can expect from every visit
These expectations apply to every job we book, from a faucet to a sewer repair.
- A clear price explained before work starts, with repair options when more than one exists.
- A licensed plumber at your door, whose license you can check on the Utah state lookup.
- Honest advice when a repair is not worth the money and replacement is the better choice.
- The work area left clean when the job is done.
- A callback number on the same line you used to book.
If a visit falls short of this list, call the line and tell the dispatcher. We would rather fix it than lose track of it.
Licensing in Utah, in plain terms
Utah licenses plumbers at several levels, including apprentice, journeyman and master, with residential journeyman and residential master levels for home work. Plumbing contractors hold their own classification. A homeowner may do limited work on their own residence under the state exemption, but that exemption does not cover hired work.
You can look up any Utah plumbing license on the state licensee lookup at secure.utah.gov/llv/search. Ask the plumber for a name or license number and check it before work starts. We never publish license numbers on this site because the plumber assigned to your job is the one who holds the license.
How a price is explained
After diagnosis the plumber states what is wrong, what the options are and what each costs. A small repair and a full replacement are often both possible, and the trade-offs are explained so you can choose. Nothing starts until you agree.
If the job changes once pipes are opened, the plumber stops and explains the new scope first. Each service page lists the cost factors that move a price, such as access, pipe material, fuel type and permit needs, so the quote is not a surprise.
Who answers the phone
Dispatchers know the basics of plumbing. They can tell a clogged fixture from a failed main, and they know when to say shut the water off now. They do not diagnose over the phone. The plumber does that on site.
Dispatch handles Herriman first and the neighboring Salt Lake Valley towns after that. If you call about an address outside that area, the dispatcher says so right away.
